I believe we are living in the most important and crucial time in the history of Bible Prophecy that the world has ever experienced.
I've never seen so much fear in the world among people who say they believe in the God of the Bible and His son Jesus Christ. Every where you go and with every conversation that is conveyed concerning the 9-11 subject; almost everyone has some kind of fear or uneasiness or some speculative answer as to what will be the outcome of it all. Here is the scripture setting for the subject which we will be discussing in this
message.
In Luke 21:25-26 it says
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

We all know that what happened one year ago in New York has changed the mind set of millions in the US of A and around the world. I want to deal with one of the most important issues that people are having to deal with since 9-11 and even before.
It is a result of something that began in the Garden of Eden when man disobeyed his Creator. No, we didn't just happen. God Almighty created man for His pleasure but man was deceived and Sin was born and thus the first incident of mans disobedience brought the first result which is Fear. Now this fear was a Godly fear. Mans feeling of offending his Creator, God Almighty.
We are going to examine this word Fear from another prospective and that is the fear which an unregenerate person experiences. Fear is that affection of the mind which arises with the awareness of approaching danger ( MFU Dictionary ). The word is defined -- be afraid, + exceedingly, fear, terror. Here are some of the thinking patterns of most Americans and I must add carnal minded Christians. What are we going to do ,how will
this all end, will we be invaded by terrorist in our city, will we win the war on terror, what will happen if we are overthrown and go under dictatorship, should I stockpile an arsenal of weapons, should I move off to some unknown island, what am I going to do, what will happen if there is biological germ warfare? These are some of the things people think about and meditate on because of fear.
Well let me address your fears because I believe what Gods word says concerning fear. In1st. John 4:18-21 it says "There is no fear in Love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. You might say but I love God, I believe in God, so does the adversary of your soul. To believe in God is to put your trust in Him ,to act upon what He commands us and instructs us
to do in His Word You must trust God even when it seems impossible to go on. Most everyone you talk to on the street believes in some god But the God who can resolve fear, unbelief, anxiety, worry, etc. is the only God who can bring peace to a troubled soul in a time of crisis, and I must add that we in America and nations through the world who seek peaceful coexistence are experiencing intensifying threats of terrorism to their
peace and safety. Let me say through the 36 years that Jesus Christ Has been my saviour I can truly say that whenever fear seeks to enter into my life, The Spirit of God takes up a standard and the peace of God calms any attempt that fear tries to impart. Isa.26:3states that God will not maybe but will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are stayed on Him for He cares for them. In America today there are thousands of different
religious ways of worship to some God. Well, even in the apostle Paul's day when he went to Athens to declare Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour to them they were already worshiping 3200 different gods and had the inscription on one of their altars "to the unknown God"; and this is the God which Paul declared to them. Question. What God do you serve? Is He the God that removes the doubt fear unbelief ? Is He the God that you
can put your trust in by faith when nothing is seemingly going right? Is He the God that gives you peace that passes all understanding? When you retire for the day can you honestly say that everything will be alright? do you go to sleep without fear of someone breaking into your home for whatever? I believe it's time to wake up and find out just who is in control and who it is that is controlling our lives. There is no reason you
should live in fear, worrying about tomorrow and what the outcome will be. The Bible says in Ps.37:23 that the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. Read the rest of the chap. because it is filled with hope, peace, promise, wealth and much more.
